There is a walk in the forest at 6.30am on Saturday 6 May, entry at KWS Gede Forest entrance.
Friends are asked to bring their membership cards to participate.
The walks last about three hours and are gentle strolls stopping to identify flora and fauna.
At the last walk on 22 April, 19 birds were recorded and several mammals including a golden rumped elephant shrew.
Friends chairman Ole Kina was on the walk and was most concerned about the plastic dumping along the trails.
If you do attend we would be delighted if you could send us photographs for the gallery section of our website.
