Come and join World Environment Day at Gede Ruins from 9am to 1pm on Wednesday 7 June 2017. World Environment Day is is an annual event and is the United Nation’s principal vehicle for encouraging worldwide awareness and action for the protection of our environment.
‘Connecting People to Nature’ is the theme for this year’s World Environment Day and implores us to get outdoors and into nature, to appreciate its beauty and its importance, and to take forward the call to protect the Earth that we share. The theme invites people to think about how we are part of nature and how intimately we depend on it. This challenges us to find exciting ways to foster this vital relationship.
Nature Kenya and Kipepeo look forward to seeing you there.
